il risporante ci è piaciuto
unico neo,i dintorni dell'hotel lasciano veramente

Poi sembrava abbastanza centrale e ben collegato;
ma è vero !!?
Diciamo che centralissimo non è, però...Lasciata
la macchina nel garage dell'Hotel, chiediamo al personale
( gentilissimo ) come arrivare a S. pietro,

Pros: The service was very, very
good. They helped us a lot, especially when it came
to items we needed.
We forgot a toothbrush and they provided us with some,
and same thing with packing tape.
They are very kind and welcoming. The dining was pretty
good, and the prices were very affordable.
The restaurant is quite helpful if you just came back
from a long trip, and you don't want to look for food.
Breakfast is complete, filling, and has great variety,
with many Italian and even some American foods.
It is far from traffic areas, making it quiet. The
shuttle makes the location factor less of a big deal.
The rooms were very clean, and the maids do a great
job cleaning it up. Free wi-fi, but slow.Cons: It's
location is far from the City Center, and many attractions,
however, every morning you can book a free shuttle
(7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30) that takes you to the Metro
station or the Vatican
(Piazza Risogimento which is close to the museum and
St. Peter's Basilica).
No swimming pool, but it's Rome, and you probably
won't go to swim anyways.
The food takes a long time to make. TV is small. Those,
however, are minor problems.
I was very satisfied with the hotel,
and for the money,
I think it's one of the best hotels you could get
for that price, considering the fact
that many of the better hotels are priced at $250.
Great hotel, great people, great food, great value.
By the way, when you book, book on their website,
because you don't have to pay the tax.
Also, I heard their getting a swimming pool and possibly
tennis courts and mini-soccer fields.
I really want this hotel again the next time I go.

Our family recently stayed at this
Hotel for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and very
accomodating.
The rooms were very clean and cozy. We had the quad
room, our kids loved watching Scooby Doo in Italian.
The food at this Hotel was incredible! We dined every
night at the hotel resteraunt and the service was
impecable.
The prices were reasonable too. After a tiring day
of touring, it was nice to just walk downstairs to
dinner.
Most of the local resteraunts were closed for the
season or didn't open until after 8:00 in the evening.
(not feasible with kids)
The buffet breakfast and service was just as good
too . The service and food was so good, why would
we go anywhere else?
The location was just outside the city center. They
do provide a shuttle to the Vatican Center which was
nice.
It's about a 20-25 minute ride by shuttle. A taxi
was a 10-15 minute ride, but you have to hang on for
dear life!
We will certainly come back to this hotel.

Great hotel, reasonably priced. 30
- 40 minutes from center city Rome by bus.
Daily runs to Vatican and other spots free via hotel
van.
Tremendous breakfast buffet - included in price of
room.
Excellent staff - Gennario runs the best breakfast
in Rome. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Hotel Massimi for over
a month in the summer of 2008 and it was amazing.
We were able to have classes in the hotel and house
about 50 students for a study abroad program.
Everyone on the staff was so friendly and helpful
at all hours of the day and night.
The breakfast was always amazing and the wait staff
went above and beyond.
The rooms were impecable and the whole grounds are
beautiful and enjoyable to walk.
I hope to return to Rome and stay at Hotel Massimi
in the future
and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for
a first class stay in Rome!!

We stayed in Rome for five nights
. Our room wasn't so big but TV , shower, direct phone
, mini bar etc. were in it.
Room 506 was very nice and in excellent, clean condition
, A/C worked well.
Throw our window we could see a Rome's large part
included St. Peter and the unexpected garden around
the hotel where we spent time to take sun !
At breakfast , a " big " one , Gennaro was
always very kind and friendly. The check in staff
go out their way to be helpful.
So , staff , breakfast , location and price , all
was great . Well, we saw St. Peter , some historical
places , Museum , do shopping.
looking for a good hotel this is amazing !
No very expansive : a coffee €. 1 at actual change
about $ 1,5 , a beer €.4 means $ 6.
We back home happy !
Thanks Letizia
